Signals for the skirmishers.

In the Manuel Général de Musique Militaire à l'Usage des Armées Françaises, written by Georges Kastner and published in 1848 in Paris, on music sheet 17 the

Ordonnance de Trompettes pour les Compagnies de Voltigeurs

is reproduced. It was composed by David Buhl and introduced for the army by the Minster of War in 1806.

It consists of only five signals (Click on the control on the right to play.):

No. 1. Forward.
No. 2. To the right.
No. 3. To the left.
No. 4.Backwards.
No. 5. Rally.
