Our bivouac in the forest near the Château de Houtain le Mont.

After spending the night in a beautiful bivouac, the next day we marched from the Château de Houtain le Mont (south-east of Quatre Bras) to the Maison du Caillou.

Waterloo, from 27 to 29 June 2025

The boss is passing by, in order to have himself inspired by us.

Our batallion carried the Eagle of the 22e, with its flag of the 1804 model. This was our way to express our protest against the suppression of infantry units wearing hats during this event. The food which was delivered to us, lacked meat. How could we possibly win a battle without meat ?

We were part of the bataillon uni, commanded by capitaine Kontos.
