(Click on the images to enlarge.)

Kapellendorf from 17th to 19th April 2015.

Guêtres et culottes. Le couche-soleil s'approche. Ombres. Grenadier Robert. Grenadier Pas Perdu.
Our new culottes with black gaiters, shades of men and men of shades, firing a cavalry pistol, and more beautiful light.

Porcia from 1st to 3rd May 2015.

Notre général. Feu de Peloton. Dans la cave. Notre domicile. Pas Perdu et Rôtisseur. Proclamation.
Finally back in Italy ! Reunited with grenadiers La Foudre and Renaud ! And even with our general !

Ligny from 12th to 14th June 2015, and our march from Ligny to Waterloo, 15th to 18th June 2015.

Grenadiers romantiques.
The sun sets during our march.

After an easy victory at Ligny, we marched via Quatre Bras to Waterloo. Our night quarters were in the Ferme de Villers (near Villers-la-Ville), the Ferme du Sartage (near Mellery) and in Céroux-Mousty.

Un capitaine, un caporal, un grenadier. Repos. Soldat et capitaine - qui a la vie meilleure ? Une ambuscade. Un capitaine est des grenadiers.
Prussian troops were passing through the same region as we did. On one day, we were lying in ambush for a complete
afternoon, alas in vain. But two other times we were successful, though unfortunately we were always outnumbered.
The photo in the center answers the question whose life is better: that of the soldier, or that of the officer ?

Waterloo from 19th to 21st June 2015.

Le bataillon uni.

Hassenhausen from 9th to 11th October 2015.

En tirailleur.
The united section of the 22e demi-brigade de ligne and the 37e demi-brigade de ligne.

This time the yearly October event on the 1806 battlefields took place in Hassenhausen, near Auerstedt. The locals were kind and hospitable as always, and it was a good opportunity to practice our tirailleur duties.

Peloton en avant. Deux tirailleurs. En tirailleurs en avant. Le Russe. Sergent Rôtisseur et Caporal Bras de Fer.
We excelled in formation and as skirmishers, outmanoeuvred the Prussians and Saxons, and defeated them, as usual.
Our sergent and caporal were content.
